The Plot :

Three quintessential Englishmen decide to do a bit of exercise by rowing on the Thames. One is greedy, another is extremely retiring and the third insists on reflection. Each of them is a hypochondriac, lazy, dishonest and extremely dignified.
It is not difficult to see why this text has been considered the bible of good humour for more than a century..
